Every year LDAG facilitate a work programme to enable college students with disabilities to gain work experience. This is done throughout the summer of each year, and for duration of three months.

“Without this work placement I would have struggled to find anywhere or anything to keep me occupied for the summer months. LDAG are great and all the staff are wonderful. It is a brilliant starting point for employment and it will help me in the future, because I can list this experience on my CV!”

Elaine Stevens availed of working in LDAG in 2007. She is currently studying journalism in Ballyfermot College of Further Education. Elaine suffers from Friedreichs Ataxia, and is confined to a wheelchair.
